The Horses Triptych

Misty morning on the Swiss countryside. Nestled in a quiet valley just outside Zurich, there is a very special farm where the owner cares for injured and abused horses. I lived a short walk from there and always found the hike up past what I called The Faraway Tree a calming and peaceful journey. This image was made with a vintage Diana camera from the 1950's. The resulting images have a very painterly quality which adds to the mystique of never really knowing what will be exposed by Diana.
