Pleasant Hill Leaf, Oregon

from DKK 995.00

Pleasant Hill was the first white settlement in Lane County when Elijah Bristow settled in 1846. I lived there while teaching photography at the University of Oregon Craft Center and was fortunate to meet author and counter-cultural figure Ken Kesey, who died in 2001. As the author of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Ken considered himself a link between the Beat Generation of the “50s and the Hippies of the ‘60’s. I remember seeing Ken’s infamous school bus “Furthur” parked at his home just down the road from mine.

I made this image with my Cambo 4×5 on Extachrome 100 transparency film in the forest just behind Ken’s house.

Print sizes: A2 (16"x20"), A3 (11"x17"), A4 (8"x10") With White boarder

Open Edition

Fine Art Giclée print with a paper rating up to 175 years. PH neutral, Acid and OBA free resulting in a stunning reproduction of the original Ilfochrome print.

Prints are not matted or framed. Please have them professionally framed. We offer custom framing services in Denmark only.

Please note currency is Danish Kroner. Free Shipping
